2024 Outreach Report
Good oral health is vital for overall well-being, yet many students lack access to adequate dental education. Recognizing this need, the NOICHC team launched the 2024 School Dental Outreach programme, building on insights from the 2023 outreach. The initiative aimed to raise oral health awareness, empower students and teachers with practical knowledge, and promote healthier dental habits. May & October 2023 Outreach
The Dental Outreach program, comprising two phases, has been instrumental in advancing oral health awareness and providing crucial dental services to schools in the community. Phase One, conducted from May 4th to May 25th, 2023, was expanded from two to eight educational institutions. This phase successfully educated 332 individuals (305 students from primary and secondary schools and 27 teachers).
