Dr. Bibilola Oladeji (MBBS, MSc, FWACP)
Dr. Bibilola Oladeji (MBBS, MSc, FWACP) is a Fellow of the West African College of Physicians with close to two decades of research and clinical practice in psychiatry.
She is a Senior Lecturer, and the former head of the Department of Psychiatry, College of Medicine, University of Ibadan, and a Consultant Psychiatrist to the University College Hospital, Ibadan.
Her main research interests are in Psychiatric Epidemiology and Implementation Science with a special interest in Maternal Mental Health and mental health aspects of HIV/AIDS.
She has been involved with trials exploring the integration of mental health care with primary and maternal and child health care using a task sharing approach with funding from the Fogarty International Centre, National Institute of Mental Health, Grand Challenges Canada and the IDRC.
In the context of her research and clinical work, she has trained hundreds of frontline non-specialist healthcare providers to identify and provide evidenced based care for common mental disorders.
